Brian Force - Varsity Coach
 

Brian Force enters his 9th year as the head coach of the Red Devils.  In his first year at the helm, Force lead the Red Devils to a tie of the NAC Stripes Division League Championship, Lordstown's first conference title in 37 years. Following the 2013-2014 season, Force was named Division IV Northeast Ohio Inland District Coach of the Year and Trumbull County Division IV Coach of the Year.

 

He has coached basketball for 22 years, 16 of those years as a varsity head coach.  Force previously coached the Berkshire High School boys basketball teams to back-to-back Chagrin Valley Conference - Valley Division league championships.  Force also led the Berkshire Badgers to a second place finish in the 2007 OHSAA Division III District Championship.  Force was named Chagrin Valley Coach of The Year in the 2007 and 2008 seasons.

 

 Coach Force then spent 4 seasons as the varsity coach at Aurora City Schools where he currently teaches 6th grade math. Coach Force also owns and operates SkyForce Basketball, LLC which offers individual and group basketball skill development as well as camps, clinics, and AAU teams.

 

Born and raised in Ashtabula, Force attended Ashtabula Harbor High School and later played basketball at Hiram College.  Coach Force resides in Lordstown with his wife, Mandy, and their three sons, Aiden, Ganon, and Jonah.
